Academy of Media Arts Cologne / Universidad Naciona de Colombia / Central Academy of Fine Arts, China / Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia / Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México / National Institute of Design, India”Letters from the Ur” is a collective animation project based on letters from former FARC guerrilleros who describe their most difficult moments and experiences from the time of the Colombian conflict. This collaborative process took place simultaneously in India, Mexico, Colombia, China and Germany.

Based on writings by ex-combatants of the FARC, members of COMUNARTE, they were created in workshops of the Corporación Colombiana de Teatro, under the direction of Carlos Satizabal, lecturer at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
