In 2016 The Academy of Media Arts Cologne founded the new department exMedia that integrates Design, Coding, Space, Sound, Animation and 3D.
Actually applications for a 4 semester postgraduate program starting in fall 2019 are accepted until 14th January 2019. The winter term will start in October 2019.
Applicants should have a degree in Design, Architecture, Urbanism, Sound, Computer Science, Art, Theory/Sciences or Social Activism. The ability to work on complex topics in a project-based study combining critical reflection and experimental practice is expected.
