welcome: Jacqueline Hen

* Beginning at the KHM: What are the things you are most looking forward to and/or are excited about?
Being with like-minded people, with space for dissent. Learn from each other. Question everything. Freedom to experiment.

* What is your artistic/scientific background? What are your main starting points in being an artist and or scientist?
Ever since I was little, I am interested in envisioning and constructing spaces,  experimenting with different materials and phantasm.

After my first job as a Set designer (building spaceships, dark age kitchens, and Shaolin temple out of styrofoam, wood, tusche, sand and a lot of hot glue and Gaffer-Tape), I studied Visual Communication with a focus on Spatial- & Experience Design.

Since then I worked in various fields like Scenography, Exhibition & Produkt Design, Prototyping, Material Research, Art installation, Technology/Knowledge Transfer Research and Process Design.

I’m interested in the exploration of new sustainable ways of inhabiting and in the investigation of possibilities of social transformation through communication and participation in the intersection of physical and virtual habitats.

* Which three words would you use to describe yourself or your topics?
Experiential space.
Consciousness.
Transformation.
